Hi – I’m Kerri principle photographer & owner of Kerri Goldsmith Photography.

I have a home studio located in Wishart on the south side of Brisbane where I use studio lighting and I also travel for outdoor sessions when requested. My aim is for more than just a photo session but an amazing photographic experience with a relaxed, creative and fun session so you have those beautiful special memories of your life today to then remember for years to come. I want you to have more than just digital files on a USB that get filed away but also beautiful WALL ART or Art pieces to display in your home to always see!

Established since 2012, I have a background of nursing & midwifery and hence very comfortable with babies and children with their safety as the utmost importance during any session. Photography is my passion and capturing special memories for you to treasure always is my greatest wish. Hence my motto – Capturing the Moment, the Memory and the Emotion.

We need to record all stages of our life to capture the emotions of love and growth:

MATERNITY – I love these session to capture the amazing miracle within and your beautiful pregnancy glow – usually between 30-36 weeks for a lovely round tummy. These sessions can be held in the studio at any time of the day with air conditioning to suit your comfort. I also offer outdoor locations if you prefer this option and these sessions are best in the late afternoon for the soft light. I have a large range of maternity gowns all available to you to choose and wear at your session.

NEWBORNS – These sessions are held in my home studio where I have all my props, outfits and such all available to to use during a session. The studio is warm for baby’s comfort and I prefer to photograph babies 6-14 days but will always offer session to older babies. Parents relax on the sofa while I capture those lifetime memories.

SITTER MILESTONE – I adore these sessions where your little one has accomplished sitting unaided and usually so proud of themselves and willing share lots of smiles. I have many outfits available for this age range to use at your session also.

FIRST BIRTHDAY & CAKE SMASH – First birthdays are always a big milestone to capture. Whether you want a simple portrait session, milk bath, a fun session with fruit or food or the messy fun of Cake Smash. Cake Smash are fun to squish all that soft frosting and smash the cake into bits, this is always followed up with some fun photos in a bubble bath and also to clean off.

MINI SESSIONS – I love Christmas and capturing the special memories each year as your child grows to have that record to look back on a yearly growth spurt also. I include a pose with Santa but only part of Santa to keep the mystery there or those special facial expressions seeing him. I also hold Mini Sessions during the year for special events.

PORTRAITS – It’s always special to capture your children growing past the 1st year, their changing facial characteristics, cheeky smiles, grown spurts and more importantly capturing you – Mum & Dad – so your children have those memories to look back on as they grow. You need to create a legacy for the generations to follow of YOU!
