Hi my name is Kellie Johnsson, I am a Brisbane based photographer located in Brisbane, Westlake 4074.

I am a specialist in newborn photography, maternity photography and family photography.

My goal for you is to photograph your journey from pregnancy, motherhood to your beautiful family.

Your little one will be comfortable and relaxed during the newborn photography session. I have extensive training in newborn posing. Your babies safety always comes first and is assured. Which allows me to provide you with you beautiful, timeless photos.

As a specialist in newborn photography, it is very natural for me to settle and comfort a newborn baby, you will feel extremely comfortable and relaxed as you watch your baby snuggled in one of the beautiful props I have here in the studio.

It is extremely important for me to capture the true connection within your family circle. Welcoming your new baby into your family.

Maternity photography is held on location and sessions are held around Brisbane and the many gorgeous parks we have along the Brisbane river.

I was lucky enough to choose Kellie as my maternity photographer and newborn photographer for both of my pregnancies/babies. After seeing the incredible work she did for us, my sister also chose her for her maternity shoot/newborn photographer.

Kellie brings the most beautiful gowns for you to wear, she makes sure that you are comfortable and at ease at all times (which for my husband who hates having photos taken was a huge thing).

The way in which Kellie accommodates you and your newborn/children at the newborn photo shoot is second to none. I highly recommend Kellie to anyone wanting to have these beautiful keepsake/memories. I know I treasure mine.

I cannot recommend Kellie enough, she was an absolute dream to work with. We initially had her recommended to us through a photography friend back in Victoria and we are so glad we did. Her studio is absolute bliss and the way she was able to keep our baby totally relaxed and asleep the entire time was amazing, we definitely stole a few tips and tricks from her that day!
Along with the shoot being absolutely perfect, the photos were stunning!! We were a little hesitant at first about getting photos because they are quite the investment but it was well and truly worth it. They are divine and something we will cherish forever.
We will definitely be back for more photos in the years to come

I honestly don’t know where to start with this review! I first met Kellie at the botanical gardens when I was 34 weeks pregnant for our maternity photo shoot and it was just wonderful.
Kellie took some my ideas for what I wanted and turned it into magic. This was my first experience with a maternity shoot and I felt like a glorious pregnant goddess haha. We included my 11year old son in the photos and it was just a great day.
Fast forward to when I had my daughter, it was during the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic so everything has to be put on hold. I was devastated. Not only did Kellie console and reassure me, she gave my tips with how I could capture some photos on my own in those very first precious days. We finally got our newborn photo shoot at just shy of 8 weeks. I was so worried my fussy, ‘Velcro’ baby wouldn’t cooperate. That’s where Kellie’s true magic came through. She is some kind of newborn baby whisperer because she not only calmed me, but spent hours making sure my baby was comfortable and happy. The photos are divine and her studio is fully equipped for whatever ideas you have!
I’m so excited to see what awaits us at our next shoot at 6 months. Kellie is truely a gift to the photographer community and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

  Kellie is the absolute everyone whisperer! She took photos of our 2 girls and family shots, she was so gentle and calming. My youngest hardly ever slept and I didn’t think we would get any photos but to my delight she slept through most of it…… until a poo explosion….. I was mortified but Kellie took it all in her stride. Such an understanding and easy photographer to work with, I recommend 1000%!!
