Hi. I’m Lisa. I’m the owner and Head Baby Whisperer at Adelaide Newborn Photography. I would love to share my love of photography with you and your family. It would be my pleasure to capture your precious moments, memories that you’ll cherish forever. Creating affordable photographic memories for you and your family to adore.

I am an expert baby whisperer (newborn and family photographer), who specialises in photographing newborns, babies, maternity and family. Photography is my passion and I have ensure and taken the time to get specialist training from top newborn photographers like Lorna Kirkby, and attend world class events like The Baby Summit (a specialist newborn and family photographer conference hosted by Kelly Brown) and online Newborn Retreats. So I am up to date with current safe ways of posing newborns, and how to create composites for those images where it’s much safer for baby to be posed separately. I am fully immunised (for the flu, whooping cough and for Covid19) as required to be around new babies and children, and I have completed a first aid “Caring for kids” course as well as being Academy of Newborn Photography Accredited.

As a photographer I am an accredited professional photographer (APP) with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) with a fully insured business. I have DECS government clearance to work with babies and children as well as a current SA police check.

Most importantly I have now been photographing newborns and families for the last almost 10years, and am not going to disappear into the night anytime soon as there are way too many gorgeous babies arriving earthside daily that need to have their first portraits captured.

We were asked by the Royal District Nursing Sevice to be involved in a photo shoot and interview/article on our son and the RDNS nurses who used to call in to check on him, after a long PICU stint.

Lisa had to endure many cancelled sessions, due to our son’s health, and on the day he was very overwhelmed but Lisa worked her magic and we now have a beautiful collection of family photos to look back on.

We highly recommend Lisa for your family sessions. She was very patient and understanding, as well as talented.

We’ve now had three sessions with Lisa and couldn’t recommend her enough!
From our first session in early 2019 to now Lisa work just keeps getting better. Lisa came highly recommended to us and it’s not hard to see why!
The whole process is simple and the end products are perfection. Lisa manages to not only take stunning photos of your baby, she also makes sure she gets the little details as well (such as their tiny hands and feet).
Lisa is so wonderful to work with and manages to make my husband who hates photos comfortable in front of the camera whilst also keeping up with our energetic toddler. She is also a baby whisperer and is so knowledgeable when it comes to little tips and tricks.
I couldn’t imagine having any one else capture such special moments of our children.

Lisa is an amazingly talented photographer. She was quick to respond to my query about maternity photos and stood out to me because of the quality of her photos and her style of photography was what I had envisioned when having maternity photos done. I loved that she offered on location shots, at the beach which is what I wanted, as well as her amazing client wardrobe she has on offer! The dresses are so beautiful it really made my photos that little bit more special. Her knowledge of how to get the right shots and her editing skills are on point. She makes you feel very comfortable and is lovely to get along with throughout the shoot. Lisa also takes her time to get the right shot and make sure you are happy with the different shots and looks taken. What I also loved was that I got a very large variety of looks in my shoot.

Definitely go with Lisa for your photos, you won’t be disappointed and you get great value for your money!

As I am someone who is shy in front of a camera, Lisa made me feel really comfortable during our email exchange, so I knew exactly what both the maternity session and the newborn photo shoot would look like. Lisa provided outfits for my beach-based maternity session and helped me to capture the moment so thoughtfully and beautifully. The newborn session at my house was again a positive experience, and Lisa provided really clear instructions of how baby and I could get the most out of it. And Lisa was so gentle with my little one – I completed trusted my most precious baby with her. And at the end of it all – the photos were magnificent and captured our special time so precisely and lovingly.

We cannot thank Lisa enough for the amazing job she did for our little girls newborn shoot. We used Lisa at Adelaide newborn photography for our maternity photos and our newborn photos. Having photos taken of us was sooo far out of our comfort zone as we have never done anything like it before. Lisa made us feel so comfortable and safe and just made us laugh all day. The maternity shoot was so great! Lisa also sent through a well wishes personal message on the day of our induction which was a lovely personal touch. After our beautiful boy arrived we had our newborn photos and Lisa was absolutely amazing! The passion she has for babies and photography is just amazing! I did a breastfeeding photo and she made me feel so comfortable with being exposed. She reassured some of my new mum stresses by sharing some of her own stories of her and her children. I would 1000% recommend Lisa! She provided all dresses for maternity photos and soo many props for newborn photos. She also provided detailed instructions on how to get the best out of newborn photos, eg, feeding times, room temp.
If your are Looking at booking her, don’t think, just do it.
