Being a first time mum it can be hard to find someone that you trust to take those precious first photos of your newborn. From the very first phone call Shann was just so amazing at how she explained everything and the way she did things.

On the day of our shoot I have never seen someone so calm and relaxed at how they handled a newborn to position them for all the different shoots, it was not only the baby that was calm but myself and parents.

I cannot thank Shann enough for the amazing experience and photos.

Shannon was absolutely amazing with our 1 week old boy, he was unsettled and ready for a change/feed on arrival but Shannon was able to resettle him almost instantly and he slept through the entire process thanks to her magic hands. The photographs she created are magical and we will forever cherish her amazing art!

Cannot recommend Shannon enough. She was so kind and patient with our baby girl. I felt very comfortable leaving my baby in her hands. She also listened to and respected all of my requests and wishes for what photos I wanted and how I wanted my baby to look. We even stayed for a good old yarn afterwards, which made the whole experience so much nicer. It wasn’t just a business kind of vibe. Shannon took the time to get to know all of us which was very comforting. The art shop can be tricky at first to navigate, but Shannon is always willing to answer my messages and help me out. Was well worth the trip from Hobart!

As first time parents to be, walking around the Launceston Baby Expo we had no clue when to book or who to book for our newborn photos… and then Shannon greeted us! Shannon was open to any questions asked about the booking process and told us what we should expect from a newborn session – we booked our shoot instantly.

Every point of contact that was made prior to our session was clear, professional and easy going. Nothing too much for this new mum baby brain!!

At our shoot, Shannon once again showed her professionalism with working her magic with our new little babe – Matilda. How does one calm a baby so quickly!!

Shannon would always talk us through of what she was going to be doing with Matilda and made the family portraits quick, simple and stress-free (especially since I’m not a photo person!)

Upon finishing up our session, it was like we had known Shannon for years. We walked out with the confidence that we had definitely chosen the perfect photographer to capture our first little babe.

We are so in love with our digital gallery and cannot wait to receive our product. XX

We were greeted by a bubbly lady (Shannon) at the 2021 baby expo and thought her photos were so beautifully taken that we wanted to get some family photos done (dog included) at an outdoor session to keep forever. The whole process was super easy, and the session went so quick, which was great because we have a 9 month old who was due for bed. We did think afterwards “hmm, that was so quick I wonder if we even got any good ones”… And my word we did! It made it so hard for us to pick just a few! The turn around from getting the photos taken to receiving the edited gallery was also so fast! There is nothing better than having a photographer who not only captures special moments for you to have forever, but who is also the friendliest. It makes the experience all the more enjoyable! Thank you again Shannon.

Such a great experience! We did a cake smash with Shannon and it was such a fun experience. Shannon not only does the photos but provides a gorgeous cake and some clothes for bub to use so that they don’t make a mess on what they are wearing. The studio is set up perfectly for the shoot and Shannon is so organised! Shannon is so professional yet so caring that it makes it a great experience for the parents and the child. We would highly recommend her and cannot wait for the next opportunity to have photos with her again.

Shannon was amazing for our newborn session. We cannot recommend her highly enough. If there was 6 stars she’d be getting them. We went there not sure about what to expect and thought we might need to settle Sophia quite regularly but instead we just sat back and cuddled for three hours while Shannon get pooed and weed on without flinching.

Shannon runs a beautiful little studio, perfect place to capture such beautiful memories. She was very patient and understanding with my 15 months old son who didn’t want to sit still, but she tried everything possible to capture a perfect image. With my sons newborn photos Shan was so gentle and incredible with him, and the images that she has captured are beyond anything I could have imagined. We had the best time with Shan in her studio. She was so welcoming and warm, taking the time for our children to feel comfortable in her space before getting into the action – which we really appreciated. Shannon is the best in the biz! I have had a full range of shoots done, 2 x baby clubs, family adventure, maternity, labour and birth photos, 1st 24hours after birth, and a milk bath photoshoot too!

Every single shoot has been amazing! Shan is always got the safety of your newborns in mind at all times…. which any other photographer ive used(before shan) just wanted to get the shot as quick as possible and it didn’t matter much about the safety of the child.

I will never forget the labour shoot as the experience was AMAZING. So empowering and Shan having had kids of her own and a huge advo for empowing women was amazing to have around in those i cant do it moments and to offer a supportive opinion. My hubby was amazing but with shan been through her own births and other births there was things I never knew I could request/do until in the moment when she suggested.

I can safely say i love every single photo she has taken of my family and I can’t wait until she can come back to WA as I want more photos lol
